Por-ey Family

Uneasy. That defined me during the first day of my high  school life. I entered room "St. Frances" and blood rushed through my veins so fast I felt so afraid to take a glance around the room. I was a part of the first year class 2005-2006 anyway, but what I felt during those times were different.

Since I was then called "manang" in my room, I always thought that my classmates would actually tag me that way. Days went but smoothly and the feelings I had at the start slipped away. I saw respect, understanding, cooperation, sensitiveness, and belonging in each of my classmates. A big thanks to my family of 20 in my room. I was able to adjust to high school life and found myself as their company.

Years passes, from first year to third year is just a matter of short moments that will end the precious times and years of painful struggles.  Moving on from the past experiences encountered, facing and adapting to the present and preparing oneself for future challenges. Being a fourth year vincentian student entails great responsibility in actions we take and word we utter for it is indeed a privilege to belong to this community.

Who would forget my batch 2008-2009 when almost of the class were naughty and noisy? Room St. Peter has always been our classroom.

Regret is what I felt about the many times I failed to recognize the presence of my friends in High School. I don't really know how to repay my por-ey classmates specially in our family who are treated me as a sister for the many times they would listen to every painful story I have about my life.

I don't really know how to tell them they actually make me feel loved. They stand by me every time I feel tears rolling down my cheeks and tell me they care.

My family of por-ey  might have noticed how grateful I am to have them  and I want to tell them specially my GURL FRIENDS  that they make my perspectives in life. I am a better person because of them; I recognize my mistakes and humbly accept the weaknesses I have because they can tell me honestly how I am behaving.

I won't forget my high school life in St. Vincent Catholic School.. .....never
